? Long-Form Video Editor & Motion Designer

? Role TL;DR

We're looking for a high-speed, high-instinct editor who can transform long-form YouTube recordings into polished, high-retention videos. This is an execution-heavy role for someone who understands narrative flow, pacing, sound design, and how to structure content for maximum viewer engagement.

? What You’ll Do

- Your day-to-day revolves around taking multi-cam raw footage and sculpting it into high-retention, long-form YouTube IPs that maintain narrative tension from the first frame to the last.
- You’ll architect and manage our post-production infrastructure, including storage systems, proxy workflows,



and archival processes to ensure zero data loss and maximum speed.
- You’ll act as a bridge between post and production, providing "Edit Notes" and feedback to the production crew to ensure they are capturing the right angles and beats needed for a seamless cut.
- You’ll dive deep into YouTube Analytics (AVD, CTR, and retention heatmaps) to decode exactly where viewers drop off, using that data to evolve our editing language and narrative flows.
- Over time, you’re expected to build and document "Edit Systems"—standardizing templates, sound libraries, and color grades so the brand voice remains consistent even as the team scales.

? You’ll Succeed in this Role if you are/have:
- Expert Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (with a strong grasp of DaVinci Resolve for color and After Effects for advanced pacing elements).
- Deep understanding of storage architecture (managing RAIDs, server workflows, and media management protocols).
- A "Story-First" mindset: you know when to let a moment breathe and when to cut aggressively to maintain momentum.
- Data-Informed Creativity: the ability to look at a retention graph and translate a "dip" into a concrete editing solution for the next episode.
- Strong communication skills to lead feedback loops with producers, directors, and hosts.




- Highly organized with a "Systems" brain - you don't just edit; you build the manual on how we edit.
- Experience handling high-stakes YouTube IPs where pacing and "The Hook" are the difference between 10k and 1M views.
- Resilient under deadlines and able to manage complex project files with hundreds of assets without breaking a sweat.

? Experience Requirements

- 2-4 years of relevant editing experience
- Prior experience with Youtube content and channels for Creators or Brands
- Experience editing long format narrative videos.
