Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching & Learning
- Teach Psychology to Classes XI and XII in accordance with the CBSE/ISC/State Board curriculum.
- Prepare annual, monthly, and weekly lesson plans.
- Deliver engaging, student-centered lessons using real-life examples, case studies, discussions, and activities.
- Promote analytical thinking and application of psychological concepts.
2. Curriculum Planning
- Develop lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives.
- Prepare teaching aids, presentations, worksheets, and learning resources.
- Integrate technology and digital learning tools into classroom instruction.
3. Assessment & Evaluation
- Conduct unit tests, assignments, projects, practicals, and examinations.
- Evaluate answer scripts and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of students' academic performance and attendance.
- Prepare students for board examinations through revision plans and practice papers.
4. Practical & Project Guidance
- Guide students in psychology practicals, experiments, observations, and project work.
- Assist students in maintaining practical files and portfolios.
- Encourage research-based learning and critical analysis.
5. Student Mentoring
- Mentor students regarding academic progress and career opportunities in Psychology.
- Identify students requiring additional academic support and provide remedial instruction.
- Foster confidence, emotional intelligence, and ethical behavior among students.
6. Classroom Management
- Maintain discipline and create a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
- Encourage active participation, teamwork, and collaborative learning.
7. Parent Communication
- Attend Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs).
- Share students' academic progress and behavioral observations with parents.
- Collaborate with parents to support student development.
8. School Activities
- Participate in school assemblies, educational excursions, seminars, workshops, and competitions.
- Assist in organizing psychology-related awareness programs, mental health campaigns, and career guidance sessions.
- Support examination duties and other institutional responsibilities.
9. Career development
- Attend training programs, workshops, and faculty development initiatives.
- Stay updated with changes in curriculum, assessment patterns, and developments in psychology and education.
10. Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain student records, assessment reports, and academic documentation.
- Submit reports and lesson plans as per school requirements.
- Participate in departmental meetings and curriculum planning.
