Working mostly in the field, this officer visits clients, fixes late payment issues, and makes sure loans are paid back on time. The officers has to visit villages to negotiate with the costomers.

Key ResponsibilitiesLoan Distribution & Client Sourcing

- Verify borrower documents and conduct field checks before handing out loans.
- Distribute loan funds safely and accurately to individuals or Joint Liability Groups (JLGs).
- Educate borrowers on repayment terms, schedules, and digital or cash channels. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Loan Recovery & Delinquency Management

- Track daily and weekly loan repayments and spot missed deadlines early.
- Visit clients and group centers in the field to collect overdue installments.




- Negotiate workable payment plans or restructuring options for struggling borrowers. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Reporting & Risk Control

- Maintain clear, accurate records of all cash collections and outstanding balances.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on collections, defaults, and portfolio health.
- Flag high-risk accounts early to prevent non-performing loans (NPLs). [1, 2, 4]

Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: 10th +
- Experience: Fresher and candidates having microfinance Experience are highly preferred
- Skills: Robust local communication and negotiation skills; high personal integrity, must speak polity.
- Mobility: A valid driver's license and a two-wheeler vehicle for daily field travel.
