Role Description We are seeking a highly motivated QA Automation Engineer with expertise in test automation, cloud-native application testing, API validation, data quality assurance, and performance testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end quality engineering initiatives across web applications, microservices, event-driven architectures, and data pipelines. This role requires hands-on experience in building scalable automation frameworks using Playwright, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Node.js, validating AWS-based solutions, integrating automated testing within CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring the reliability, performance, and integrity of applications across UI, API, cloud, and data layers.

The candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions through continuous testing and automation.

Key Responsibilities: Own the E2E test strategy (manual and automation) covering UI, API, Cloud and data layers—validating user flows, integrations, and business rules across services, queues, and databases.

Create and maintain comprehensive Test Plans, Test Strategies, Traceability Matrices, Test Cases, Checklists, and Test Data aligned to requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Develop and maintain automation framework, test plans, test scripts using JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js,



Playwright(preferred), ensuring the robustness, scalability, and performance of our applications.

Create and manage Jenkins pipelines for continuous deployment and integrate automated tests to ensure continuous testing

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate data flows, and end- to-end system functionality.

Validate end-to-end ETL pipelines, ensuring data integrity and accuracy through complex SQL validations

Verify API integrations using API Gateway, Lambda, and backend microservices

Create and Execute Performance tests to identify any performance bottlenecks

Solid communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.

Experience in Agile methodologies and a deep understanding of the overall testing process within an Agile framework.

Knowledge of various testing methodologies and test automation tools, with hands-on experience in designing and building Test Automation Frameworks.

Validate workflows involving AWS Lambda, including event-driven triggers and asynchronous processing

Test data ingestion, storage, and retrieval processes using Amazon S3

Execute end-to-end testing, debugging of cloud workflows/services in AWS Skills Playwright, API Testing, AWS, TypeScript
