Job Title: Lead Engineer - Java

Location: Bangalore

Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable Java-based applications.

- Hands on event driven architecture experience and design patters.

- Review and guide the development team's code and technical implementations, ensuring best practices.

- Optimize performance, scalability, and security of backend services.

- Integrate and maintain RESTful APIs and third-party services.

- Work with Java/Spring Boot systems when required, especially in integration scenarios.

- Develop and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.

- Drive AWS cloud adoption, design, and implementation using best practices.

- Design database schemas and manage data using MongoDB/Dynamo DB.

- Integrate and maintain Kinesis to enable real-time event streaming and communication.

- Write clean, maintainable code and ensure high performance of the backend services.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on business and technical goals.

- Implement best practices for CI/CD and cloud deployments.

- Perform pair programming, effectively communicate ideas with the team, assist in systems integration, performance testing and product releases.

- Monitor and troubleshoot production issues and optimize systems for speed and scalability.

Skills & Qualifications





- Looking for candidate with 7-10 Yrs of exp in Java (Backend Engineer)

- Strong experience with Java and microservice architecture.

- Hands-on experience with AWS ECS Fargate, Queues, Event Bus, DynamoDB, and API Gateway.

- Expertise in MongoDB/Dynamo DB for schema design and query optimization.

- Proficiency with Kinesis/Kafka for real-time messaging and event-driven systems.

- Proficient in asynchronous programming, and event-driven architecture.

- Robust experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, OAuth2, and API security.

- Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

- Familiarity with monitoring tools like New Relic or CloudWatch.

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Ability to work in an Agile / SCRUM environment
