Job Purpose The Key Account Manager Specifications will be responsible for driving product specifications across Government Bodies, Architects, and MEP Consultants. The role requires building and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring the company's piping solutions are specified in upcoming infrastructure and construction projects, and managing the complete specification process in line with government protocols and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and drive the specification business with Government Bodies, Architects, and MEP Consultants across the assigned region.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in Central, State, and Local Government authorities, Architects, and leading MEP Consulting firms.

- Ensure the company's piping products are approved and specified in government tenders, infrastructure projects, and commercial developments.

- Possess in-depth knowledge of specification procedures, government approval processes, and all protocols required for product specification in Government Bodies.

- Work closely with the sales and technical teams to convert specifications into business opportunities.

- Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions for consultants, architects, and government officials.





- Track upcoming projects, identify specification opportunities, and influence product selection at the design stage.

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to provide technical documentation, approvals, certifications, and compliance requirements.

- Maintain a healthy pipeline of specification projects and provide regular MIS reports on progress and conversions.

Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical) or equivalent. MBA will be an added advantage.

- 10 - 12 years of experience in specification management with Government Bodies, Architects, and MEP Consultants.

- Prior experience in the Pipe/Piping Industry is mandatory.

- Solid understanding of government specification protocols, approval processes, and tender requirements.

- Established network and direct relationships with major Government Bodies, Architects, and MEP Consultants involved in specifying piping products.

- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and present piping solutions effectively.

- Proven ability to manage a combined specification portfolio across Government Bodies and MEP Consultants.

- Excellent relationship management, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
