Mandatory Skills: SAP ABAP Development for HANA, Cds Views, OData Services

Job Description

Experience: 4 to 6 years of full-time experience in SAP ABAP, out of which 2-3 years of full-time experience in HANA ABAP programming with excellent expertise in In-App techniques, CDS and ODATA API .

Job Description:

Business Process / Functional knowledge:

- General business process in SD & MM modules.

Soft-skills/Analytical skills & Other Requirements:

- Positive Analytical skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Should be having enthusiasm and energy.

- Mandatory: Must be willing to work in 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM shift (all hours in IST)

Technical HANA ABAP

- Hands on development experience of RICEF objects in both HANA ABAP and Core ABAP

a. Hands on expertise in In-App techniques

b. Hands-on knowledge in ODATA API and CDS Views

c. Hands-on development experience in different Views of HANA (Attribute & Analytical views). Creation of Calculation views from Analytical views.

d. Reports: Interactive and ALV (preferably ALV using OO Methodology)

e. Interfaces: BAPI, IDOC and Flat file Interfaces (handling files on Application Server and Presentation Server)

f. Enhancements:



BADI, User Exits, Customer Exits and Enhancement Spots (all are mandatory)

g. Proficiency in areas like Data Dictionary and Performance Tuning

h. Expertise in OO ABAP

i. Expertise in “In-line coding style” and AMDP in HANA ABAP

j. Experience in building and exposing OData services.

- Performance Optimization techniques in SAP HANA

- Currency Conversion and usage of Variables in HANA

- Meta data import to SAP HANA Using SAP: Export Models and Import Models

- SQL Scripts, CE Functions and Procedures in HANA

- Hierarchies, Measures and Joins in HANA ABAP

- Nice to have: Knowledge of Fiori

Development Standards/Development Process

- By using Project Standards and Processes, prepare the technical design and develop the application to ensure the development work is in compliance with the specifications.

- Hands on expertise in determining and/or validating the development effort estimates.

- Assisting functional teams when necessary in the testing efforts and preparing test data.

- Should be ready work in 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST shift
