Job Title: Job Trainee – Housekeeping

Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor / Executive Housekeeper

Job Summary The Job Trainee – Housekeeping is responsible for learning and assisting in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards throughout the hotel. The trainee will support the housekeeping team in ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained while gaining practical experience in hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in cleaning and servicing guest rooms according to hotel standards.
- Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and guest amenities.
- Clean bathrooms, fixtures, furniture, floors, windows, and other assigned areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas, corridors, lobbies, restrooms, and staff areas.
- Replenish housekeeping supplies and amenities as required.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, and lost-and-found items to the supervisor.
- Follow proper handling and storage procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist with laundry operations when required.
- Ensure compliance with hotel hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Provide courteous and professional service to guests and respond appropriately to guest requests.
- Attend training sessions and actively participate in departmental learning activities.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and perform other duties as assigned.





Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum qualification: SSC/HSC or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Willingness to learn hotel housekeeping operations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Physically fit and capable of performing cleaning-related tasks.
- Positive attitude, discipline, and teamwork skills.

Training Objectives During the training period, the trainee will gain practical exposure to:

Note: This position is a training role intended to provide hands-on experience in hotel housekeeping operations and may lead to future employment opportunities based on performance and business requirements. Pay: ₹6,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
