Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a JavaScript Developer based in Gurugram, with some work-from-home flexibility. The JavaScript Developer will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications, contributing to both front-end and back-end components. Daily responsibilities include writing clean, modular JavaScript code, implementing user interfaces, integrating APIs, and optimizing performance across modern browsers and devices.

The role also involves collaborating with product managers and designers, participating in code reviews, refining architecture for long-term maintainability; suggesting GUI improvements , and troubleshooting issues in production environments.



The developer will be expected to stay current with emerging technologies and best practices to support Floter AI’s focus on sustainable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development skills, including JavaScript and experience with Redux.js or similar state management libraries.

Candidates should possess Back-End Web Development and general Software Development skills, with an understanding of building and integrating APIs and services.

Candidates should possess knowledge of modern web architectures, preferably including server-less frameworks and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Candidate should be able to handle design changes and offer relevant suggestions where necessary.

Candidates should possess familiarity with version control systems (such as Git) and team-oriented development workflows.

Candidates should possess good problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to write maintainable, scalable code.

Candidates should possess effective communication skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams across geographies.

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial.

Experience with testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and performance optimisation for web applications is an added advantage.
