This is a permanent role with a Bootstrapped Organization in Fintech domain, a valued client of Vidpro. About The Role We are looking for solid Java engineers who are excited about the future of software development—especially the shift toward AI-powered coding workflows.

In this role, you will use tools like Cursor or Windsurf to deliver high quality applications faster and collaborate more effectively with product and data engineering teams. This is not just another Java development job. You will be part of a modern engineering team that actively uses GenAI to boost productivity, improve code quality, and accelerate delivery for enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities Core Engineering

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
- Build scalable APIs, integrations, and data-driven platforms for enterprise customers.
- Write clean, maintainable, testable code and follow best practices.

AI-Enhanced Development





- Use Cursor or Windsurf for code generation, refactoring, automated documentation, unit test creation, and debugging.
- Provide feedback on improving internal developer productivity using AI tools.

Performance & Reliability

- Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to platform stability.
- Optimize performance of APIs and backend services.

Required Technical Skills

- 3–6 years hands-on Java experience.
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, REST APIs
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with microservices and integration patterns.
- Understanding of Git, unit testing frameworks.
- Experience with any one cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Soft Skills

- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to learn and adapt.

Good to Have

- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes.
- Exposure to data engineering tools
- Practical experience using Cursor, Windsurf or similar tools.

Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
