: IT System Engineer

- Position: IT System Engineer
- Exp: B.tech Fresher with 80% and above or 2 years exp Max) 2026 pass out.

- Function / Department: Service - BMS
- Report to: Head of Department

Section 3: Dimension of the Role Provides IT infrastructure support and customer consultation, handling installation, virtualization, maintenance, and troubleshooting across industrial IT environments. Coordinates with suppliers and international teams, with occasional travel required.

Education Background

- Graduate or Postgraduate in IT or equivalent (B.tech Fresher with 80%)

Responsibilities

- Consulting customers in all IT-system-related technical matters
- Providing 1st-level support via telephone, email, and remote access
- Installing and configuring IT infrastructure (servers, workstations, storage systems)
- Monitoring and maintaining running IT systems
- Supporting network infrastructure and connectivity
- Virtualizing IT systems (servers and workstations)
- Managing backup and recovery of data and systems
- Analyzing and solving technical problems, managing service operations
- Collecting and maintaining service-related data
- Preparing, coordinating, or executing service operations




- Commissioning systems and training customers
- Communicating with sub-suppliers and international representatives
- Contributing to development of service products and spare parts replacements
- Configuring and testing spare parts; supporting processing
- Creating internal service documentation and customer documentation

Technical Competencies

- Collaborating in IT systems architecture and design
- Installation and configuration of Windows/Linux servers and storage systems
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
- Network infrastructure support - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Backup and recovery tools
- Remote support tools and 1st-level ticket handling
- System monitoring and service operation tracking
- Documentation preparation for internal and external use
