Lightyears is looking for an Inventory Planning & Supply Chain Associate to own demand forecasting, coordinate production across our contract manufacturing partners, and keep inventory accurate and visible across every sales channel. This is a hands-on role for someone who's comfortable owning numbers, working directly with manufacturing partners, and building the processes that keep supply matched to demand as we scale. What You'll Do

- Own inventory planning and demand forecasting — build and maintain forecasts, translate them into purchase and production plans, and adjust for seasonality, promotions, and channel trends.
- Manage production schedules and day-to-day coordination across our contract manufacturers, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and cost targets are met.




- Track and reconcile inventory across all channels (D2C, marketplaces, and warehouses), maintaining a single source of truth for stock levels and flagging discrepancies early.
- Monitor lead times, MOQs, and capacity across manufacturing partners, and proactively flag risks to stock availability.
- Partner with sales, operations, and finance teams to align inventory plans with revenue targets and cash flow constraints.
- Set up and improve reporting/dashboards for inventory health, stockouts, aging, and fill rates.

What We're Looking For

- 3–5 years of experience in inventory planning, supply chain, or operations, ideally with a consumer/D2C brand or with contract manufacturers.
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; comfort working with ERP, inventory management, or planning tools.
- Analytical mindset — comfortable building forecasts and spotting trends in data.
- Experience coordinating with external manufacturing or vendor partners.
- Excellent organization and follow-through; able to manage multiple SKUs, channels, and partners at once.
- Explicit communicator who can work cross-functionally with sales, ops, and finance. Location & Logistics
