We’re Hiring | Assistant Manager - Inventory & Taxation Company: Ventralink ECom LLP Location: Bengaluru Employment Type: Full time | Permanent Experience Required: 2-5 Years Ventralink Ecom LLP is a Bengaluru-based e-commerce company engaged in distribution, warehousing and online sales through marketplaces and digital channels, operating in a high-volume environment requiring expertise in marketplace accounting, TCS, GST, and return accounting.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage monthly inventory valuation using FIFO/Weighted Average Cost, maintain product cost records, and post inventory valuation and COGS entries in the General Ledger.
- Prepare stock valuation and closing schedules, analyze cost variances, and compute provisions for slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory.
- Manage inventory accounting by recording inward/outward stock movements, returns, and inventory write-offs, ensuring accurate GL postings.
- Perform monthly inventory reconciliations and prepare stock movement MIS to ensure accurate reporting and audit compliance.
- Managed GST compliance for inventory transactions, including ITC verification, GSTR-2B reconciliation, ITC reversals, and GST treatment for stock transfers and job work.
- Ensured compliance with e-way bill regulations and monitored marketplace TCS reconciliation for accurate GST reporting.




- Prepare inventory valuation, closing stock workings, and trading account/GP statements in compliance with the Income Tax Act and tax audit requirements.
- Maintain documentation for inventory provisions/write-offs and support tax audits, assessments, and inventory-related tax queries.

Required Skills

- Inventory valuation – FIFO / WAC methods - COGS and GL posting for stock movements - GST – ITC, GSTR-2B, e-way bill, ITC reversal - TCS (Sec. 52 CGST) reconciliation - Sec. 145A IT Act – inventory for tax audit - Understanding of FIFO vs. NRV provisioning - Reconciliation mindset — GL vs. physical data - Proactive identification of ITC mismatches ✅ Eligibility:
- CA Inter / CMA Semi-Qualified
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) with 2-5 years of relevant experience
