Role Description: The Internet of Things (IoT) Engineer will design, develop, and maintain IoT solutions that connect clean energy assets to Vayucred’s carbon credit platform. This full-time, on-site role in Hyderabad involves building and integrating sensor networks, configuring devices such as Raspberry Pi-based systems, and implementing secure data acquisition pipelines. The IoT Engineer will collaborate with software and product teams to ensure accurate, real-time data collection, validation, and transmission from solar farms and other energy assets.

Daily responsibilities include programming embedded systems, troubleshooting hardware and connectivity issues, optimising performance,



and contributing to technical documentation and best practices. The role also involves continuous improvement of IoT architecture to support scalability, reliability, and regulatory compliance in the carbon market. Qualifications

Candidates should possess skills in Internet of Things (IoT) solution design, deployment, and integration.

Candidates should possess skills in Software Development and Programming for embedded and edge devices.

Candidates should possess skills in working with Raspberry Pi and related hardware platforms.

Candidates should possess knowledge of Inductive Output Tube (IOT) or other relevant electronic components as applicable.

Experience with sensor integration, communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, HTTP, Modbus), and data acquisition systems is beneficial.

Familiarity with cloud platforms, APIs, and databases for IoT data storage and processing is preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Solid problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to collaborate in cross-functional teams.

Interest in clean energy, climate technology, and sustainability-focused innovation is a plus.
