Job Title: Treasury Manager / Team Lead

About the Role:

The Treasury Manager will lead treasury operations within the GCC of a large Indian conglomerate with a robust manufacturing footprint. The role will be responsible for managing transitioned treasury activities across banking operations, liquidity support, trade finance, insurance coordination, treasury reporting, and governance while ensuring strong process controls, operational efficiency, and stakeholder management.

The role will closely collaborate with the retained corporate treasury/front-office team, business finance teams, banks, auditors, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless treasury operations and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage end-to-end treasury operations transitioned to the GCC, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to defined SLAs and controls.

2. Oversee banking operations including payment processing, cheque management, banking coordination, and operational support for cash flow and working capital management.

3. Support liquidity operations including WCDL tracking, cash flow monitoring, and treasury transaction processing across business units.

4. Lead trade finance operations covering LC/BG issuance and closure, bill discounting, supply chain finance, import/export payment processing, and factoring documentation.

5. Ensure timely execution of trade finance transactions while maintaining compliance with banking guidelines, FEMA requirements, and internal policies.





6. Manage treasury-related insurance operations including policy administration, premium processing, stock declarations, and claims coordination and closure.

7. Drive treasury governance through effective controls, SOP adherence, audit support, documentation management, and regulatory compliance.

8. Prepare and review treasury MIS, operational dashboards, reconciliations, and management reports to support decision-making and governance requirements.

9. Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, standardization, and continuous improvement across treasury operations.

10. Coordinate effectively with banks, insurers, auditors, business finance teams, and retained treasury/front-office teams for smooth execution of treasury activities.

11. Lead and mentor the GCC treasury operations team, ensuring capability development, performance management, and a high-service delivery culture.

12. Support transition, stabilization, and scaling of treasury activities into the GCC environment while ensuring operational continuity and stakeholder alignment.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

1. CA / CMA / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.

2.



812 years of experience in corporate treasury operations, banking operations, trade finance, or shared services/GCC finance environments.

3. Strong understanding of treasury operations, cash flow management, working capital processes, and banking coordination.

4. Hands-on experience in trade finance instruments including LCs, BGs, bill discounting, supply chain finance, and import/export payments.

5. Knowledge of FEMA regulations, banking documentation, and treasury compliance requirements.

6. Experience in treasury-related insurance processes including policy administration and claims coordination.

7. Strong understanding of treasury governance, controls, audit support, and operational risk management.

8. Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP/Oracle and treasury reporting tools.

9. Strong stakeholder management and team leadership capabilities.

10. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

11. Prior experience in manufacturing, textile, or large conglomerate environments preferred.

12. Experience in transition management, process migration, or GCC/shared services setup will be an added advantage.

Desired Skill Set:

13. Exposure to treasury process transformation and automation initiatives.

14. Experience managing multi-entity or multi-location treasury operations.

15. Familiarity with digital treasury tools, workflow automation, and reporting dashboards.

16. Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving GCC environment with strong collaboration across global and corporate teams.
