About Creya

Creya Learning & Research, established in 2011, is one of India’s pioneers in STEAM learning, Design Thinking and experiential education. For over 15 years, Creya has worked with CBSE, ICSE, Cambridge and IB schools across India, the UAE and Kuwait, implementing structured AI-powered STEM Labs, Design Studios and Maker Spaces.

Creya has inspired more than 500,000 students through hands-on learning experiences in engineering, robotics, artificial intelligence, coding, electronics, 3D design, product development and innovation. Creya also conducts beyond-school programmes under the MeerKats & Mean Machines brand through its retail Maker Spaces and partnerships with organisations such as T-Works, India’s largest prototyping centre.

Creya is the Knowledge Partner for the national-level IIT Madras Shaastra Junior Makeathon and a member of the World Design Organization. Creya’s work was featured at the World Industrial Design Day 2026 Global Conference. About the Role

Creya is looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on Innovation, Design & Technology Coach to work at our Maker Space located in Aparna Unispace, Bachupally. This is not a conventional classroom-teaching position. It is a practical mentoring role for someone who enjoys making, experimenting, solving problems and helping students turn ideas into working prototypes.

The coach will mentor students participating in Creya’s MeerKats & Mean Machines workshops, summer programmes and flagship programmes such as The i3 Programme: Introduction to Industry & Innovation. You will guide students across areas such as:

Robotics and electronics

Artificial intelligence

Coding and app development

Engineering and product design

Internet of Things

CAD, 3D design and digital fabrication





Design Thinking and creative problem-solving

Prototyping and innovation Key Responsibilities

- Facilitate hands-on technology, design and innovation workshops.
- Mentor students across different age groups and learning levels.
- Help students ideate, design, prototype, test and present their solutions.
- Support programmes involving robotics, AI, electronics, 3D design, IoT and engineering.
- Create an engaging, safe and encouraging Maker Space workplace.
- Prepare materials, tools and equipment before each workshop.
- Maintain and organise Maker Space equipment and resources.
- Document student projects, programme observations and learning outcomes.
- Provide feedback and analytical insights for improving programmes and processes.
- Coordinate with Creya’s programme, curriculum and operations teams.
- Support workshops, showcases, camps and special events conducted at the centre.

- Enjoy building and experimenting rather than only explaining theory.
- Flexibility to travel for workshops in schools within the city Who should apply

Applicants should have an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Product or Industrial Design, Computer Science, Physics, Electronics, Robotics, Mechatronics or a related field.

Fresh graduates, as well as candidates with experience in STEM Labs, Maker Spaces, student clubs or hands-on workshops, are encouraged to apply.

Experience in any of the following will be an advantage, though it is not mandatory:

•⁠ ⁠Arduino, Micro:bit, ESP32 or similar platforms

•⁠ ⁠Robotics and electronics

•⁠ ⁠Python, coding or app development

•⁠ ⁠Artificial intelligence tools

•⁠ ⁠CAD and 3D design

•⁠ ⁠3D printing or laser cutting

•⁠ ⁠Design Thinking and prototyping

•⁠ ⁠Conducting workshops or student activities Creya will provide the training required to deliver its programmes.

Location: Aparna Unispace, Bachupally, Hyderabad

Number of positions: 1

Work schedule: Six days a week | Weekly off on Monday
