Position: Senior Lead / Assistant Manager Location: New Delhi Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

Actively scout and engage with startups to apply for iDEX , SIDBI iDEX Fund and defence / aerospace / space related challenges.

Renewable Energy, and other emerging technology domains.

Guide and mentor startups in preparing high-quality proposals for government, industry, and investor-led funding and innovation programs, including iDEX, SIDBI, Startup India, DST, BIRAC, MeitY, and other relevant initiatives.

Provide end-to-end support to startups throughout their incubation journey, including onboarding, progress tracking, periodic reviews, mentorship coordination, milestone monitoring, and facilitating graduation from the incubation program.

Facilitate access to the FITT ecosystem by connecting startups with IIT Delhi faculty, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), industry experts, mentors, investors, laboratories, infrastructure, funding opportunities, and business development support.

Prepare, review, and maintain reports, MIS, program documentation, and compliance requirements in accordance with organizational, sponsor, and government guidelines.

Plan and execute startup engagement activities including Demo Days, Review Meetings, Workshops, Outreach Programs, Networking Sessions, Ecosystem Events, and Startup Visits.

Act as a catalyst between startups, IIT Delhi faculty members, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), industry experts, strategic partners, investors, and government agencies to foster collaboration, research, product development, commercialization, and technology adoption.

Build and strengthen partnerships with incubators,



government bodies, industry partners, investors, and ecosystem stakeholders to expand opportunities and provide greater support to startups.

Contribute to strengthening FITT's incubation ecosystem by improving incubation processes, startup engagement initiatives, and ecosystem development activities.

Undertake any other responsibilities as assigned. Qualification & Eligibility

Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, Electronics, Aerospace, or any other relevant Engineering discipline.

Experience

2–7 years of relevant experience in startup incubation, innovation management, technology commercialization, project management, startup ecosystem development, or related domains.

Desired Skills & Competencies

Solid understanding of emerging technology domains such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Deep-Tech, and other innovation-driven sectors.

Excellent execution and project management capabilities.

Excellent communication, networking, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with startups, academia, industry experts, investors, corporates, and government agencies.

Strong analytical, documentation, presentation, and reporting skills.

High level of ownership, professionalism, integrity, and commitment towards achieving organizational goals.
