Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled
Senior Software Engineer - Frontend with strong expertise in React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, Jest, and modern web technologies. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building scalable, responsive, and high-performance web applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced agile environment.

This role requires a hands-on engineer who can drive technical excellence, collaborate with onshore leads and product teams on complex integrations, mentor junior developers, and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

- Design, develop, test, and maintain modern web applications using
React.js and related frontend technologies.
- Build reusable, maintainable, and scalable UI components.
- Translate UX/UI designs into high-quality production-ready code.
- Develop responsive and accessible web applications that provide exceptional user experiences.

Software Engineering Excellence

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following engineering best practices.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues effectively.

Testing & Quality

- Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests using
Jest, React Testing Library, and related testing frameworks.
- Maintain high code quality through code reviews, static analysis, and CI/CD practices.




- Ensure adequate test coverage and adherence to quality standards.

Collaboration

- Work closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, Architects, and Backend Engineers.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team''s technical growth.

Continuous Improvement

- Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and industry best practices.
- Drive adoption of engineering standards, automation, and development efficiencies.
- Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and technical communities within the GCC.

Required Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience

- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with React.js in enterprise-scale applications.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience collaborating with geographically distributed teams.

Technical Skills
Frontend

Expert knowledge of:

- React.js
- JavaScript (ES6+)
- TypeScript
- HTML5
- CSS3
- Responsive Web Design

Testing

Strong hands-on experience with:

- Jest
- React Testing Library
- Unit, Integration, and Component Testing

State Management

Experience with one or more:

- Redux
- Redux Toolkit
- Context API
- Zustand

API Integration

- Experience consuming RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.
- Good understanding of API-driven application development.

Build & Dev Tools





- Git/GitHub/Azure DevOps
- Webpack/Vite
- npm/yarn
- CI/CD pipelines

Cloud & DevOps (Preferred)

- Exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Understanding of containerization and deployment practices.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with
Next.js or contemporary React frameworks.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Experience with UI component libraries such as Material UI, Ant Design, or Chakra UI.
- Familiarity with micro-frontend architectures.
- Experience working in a product engineering environment.
- Understanding of frontend security best practices.
