Yagy Tech Private Limited is a technology-driven food and business services company operating through its brands DeskDyne, Mealawe, and Navmool. The company operates across B2B corporate cafeteria management, consumer meal subscriptions, food supply, and technology-enabled operations.

We are looking for a mature, dependable, and hands-on finance qualified who can take ownership of the companys accounting, revenue tracking, taxation, MIS, receivables, vendor payments, and financial controls.

Role Objective

The Senior Manager Accounts & Finance will be responsible for maintaining accurate books of accounts, monitoring revenue and profitability, ensuring statutory compliance, managing collections and vendor payments, and providing timely financial information to the management.

The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-growing company with multiple business verticals, locations, customers, vendors, and revenue models.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting and Book Closure

- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses, journals, and bank entries.
- Ensure accurate accounting across different business verticals, cities, projects, customers, and cost centres.
- Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual book closure within defined timelines.
- Review general ledger, trial balance, profit and loss account, balance sheet, and supporting schedules.
- Conduct regular bank, cash, customer, vendor, payment gateway, and inter-company reconciliations.
- Ensure proper documentation and accounting treatment for all business transactions.

Revenue Tracking and Reconciliation

- Track revenue across subscriptions, corporate cafeteria operations, commissions, food sales, software services, and supply transactions.
- Reconcile operational data, invoices, collections, credit notes, discounts, refunds, commissions, and recorded revenue.
- Prepare customer-wise, location-wise, vertical-wise, and project-wise revenue reports.
- Identify unbilled revenue, revenue leakage, incorrect billing, short collections, and reconciliation differences.
- Coordinate with sales, operations, technology, and business teams to resolve revenue discrepancies.
- Monitor gross margins and profitability at customer, vendor, site, city, and business-vertical levels.

MIS and Management Reporting

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for the management.
- Develop dashboards covering:
- Revenue and revenue growth
- Collections and outstanding receivables
- Vendor payables
- Gross margin and contribution margin
- Customer-wise and location-wise profitability
- Cash flow and bank position
- Budget versus actual performance
- Expense analysis
- Ageing of debtors and creditors
- Statutory compliance status

- Provide meaningful financial analysis rather than only presenting accounting data.
- Highlight exceptions, unusual transactions, margin erosion, overdue payments, and potential financial risks.
- Support management in budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning,



and business decision-making.

GST and Statutory Compliance

- Manage GST compliance, including invoice review, reconciliations, return preparation, and timely filing.
- Reconcile GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B, input tax credit, and books of accounts.
- Follow up with vendors for missing invoices, incorrect GST details, and input tax credit mismatches.
- Manage TDS calculations, deductions, payments, return filing, and reconciliation.
- Coordinate for income tax, professional tax, PF, ESIC, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Respond to notices and coordinate with Chartered Accountants, consultants, auditors, and government authorities.
- Maintain an updated statutory compliance calendar and ensure that no due date is missed.

Accounts Receivable and Customer Follow-Up

- Monitor customer invoicing, collections, credit periods, and outstanding balances.
- Prepare and review customer ageing reports.
- Follow up with customers for payment confirmations, overdue invoices, TDS certificates, and reconciliation differences.
- Coordinate with sales and operations teams for timely resolution of billing and collection issues.
- Escalate delayed payments and high-risk accounts to management.
- Ensure proper accounting and tracking of advances, security deposits, credit notes, debit notes, and customer deductions.

Accounts Payable and Vendor Management

- Verify vendor invoices against agreements, purchase orders, approved commercials, service delivery, and supporting documents.
- Maintain vendor-wise payable records and payment schedules.
- Follow up with vendors for invoices, GST compliance, account confirmations, debit notes, and reconciliation.
- Ensure payments are released only after appropriate verification and approval.
- Manage vendor advances, recoveries, deductions, holdbacks, and final settlements.
- Prepare weekly vendor payment plans based on due dates and available cash flow.
- Reconcile vendor ledgers and obtain periodic balance confirmations.
- Ensure that vendor payments are aligned with customer collections wherever applicable.

Financial Controls and Process Improvement

- Establish and maintain accounting policies, approval workflows, maker-checker controls, and financial SOPs.
- Ensure adherence to expense, procurement, payment, reimbursement, and revenue-recognition policies.
- Identify control gaps, duplicate payments, unsupported expenses, revenue leakages, and process inefficiencies.
- Improve accounting automation, reporting formats, reconciliation processes, and document controls.
- Maintain organised digital and physical records for audits and statutory reviews.
- Support the implementation or improvement of accounting, ERP, CRM, and financial reporting systems.

Audit and Financial Coordination

- Coordinate statutory audits, tax audits, internal audits, GST audits, and due-diligence exercises.
- Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, confirmations,



and supporting documents.
- Work closely with the company’s Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary, bankers, and consultants.
- Assist in preparing financial information required by investors, lenders, clients, and the Board.
- Ensure timely resolution of audit observations and reconciliation issues.

Required Skills and Experience

- 7–12 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, taxation, and MIS.
- Strong practical knowledge of GST, TDS, accounting principles, and statutory compliance.
- Demonstrated experience in revenue reconciliation, receivables, vendor payments, and monthly closure.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, reconciliation models, and management dashboards.
- Hands-on experience with Tally Prime and accounting or ERP software.
- Ability to prepare and analyse P&L; statements, balance sheets, cash-flow reports, ageing reports, and business MIS.
- Strong follow-up, coordination, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work with multiple branches, customers, vendors, business verticals, and revenue models.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, accuracy, and ownership.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Educational Qualification

- B.Com or M.Com is mandatory.
- CA Inter, CMA Inter, MBA Finance, or a similar professional qualification will be preferred.
- A qualified CA may also be considered where expectations and compensation are mutually aligned.
- Practical experience and ownership capability will be given greater importance than qualification alone.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will:

- Be hands-on and willing to personally review transactions and reconciliations.
- Have experience in a startup, food services, SaaS, hospitality, retail, e-commerce, logistics, or multi-location business.
- Understand both accounting compliance and business operations.
- Be firm and systematic in customer and vendor follow-ups.
- Be able to independently present financial information to the CEO and senior management.
- Possess the ability to build processes while managing ongoing accounting responsibilities.
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving organisation.

Key Performance Indicators

Performance will be measured through:

- Timely monthly book closure
- Accuracy of accounting and MIS
- GST and TDS compliance without delays
- Reduction in overdue receivables
- Timely and controlled vendor payments
- Accuracy of revenue and margin reconciliation
- Timely resolution of customer and vendor ledger differences
- Quality of cash-flow forecasting
- Reduction in revenue leakage and unsupported expenses
- Successful completion of audits
- Implementation of effective financial controls and SOPs

What We Are Not Looking For

- Candidates whose experience is limited to basic accounting entries.
- Candidates who have only worked under a CA without independently owning company accounts.
- Candidates who depend entirely on external consultants for GST, TDS, reconciliation, or closure.
- Candidates uncomfortable with customer collection follow-ups or vendor negotiations.
- Candidates looking only for a supervisory role without hands-on execution.
