About the Role
SGT University is seeking a highly motivated and result-oriented Project Manager to support the Chairman Office in driving strategic initiatives, institutional transformation, and cross-functional projects. The role requires an individual who can coordinate with senior leadership, monitor project execution, prepare executive reports, and ensure timely implementation of key initiatives across the University and Hospital.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent project management, stakeholder coordination, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to work in a rapid-paced workplace while managing multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Project & PMO Management
- Lead and coordinate the Chairman's PMO by managing multiple strategic and transformation projects simultaneously.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks while implementing effective mitigation plans.
- Maintain project governance frameworks and ensure adherence to organizational standards.
Strategic Coordination
- Coordinate with Deans, Hospital Leadership, Finance, HR, IT, Marketing, Administration, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives.
- Work closely with consultants, technology partners, and implementation agencies on institutional projects.
- Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives.
Executive Reporting & Reviews
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly project status reports for the Chairman Office.
- Develop executive dashboards, MIS reports, presentations, and business review documents.
- Organize leadership meetings, prepare agendas, record Minutes of Meeting (MoM), and track action items until closure.
- Ensure timely follow-up with stakeholders for execution of decisions and project deliverables.
Digital Transformation & Innovation
- Drive digital transformation initiatives across the University and Hospital.
- Support implementation of ERP, EMR, AI-based solutions, automation, and technology-enabled process improvements.
- Coordinate branding, governance, accreditation, and institutional excellence initiatives.
- Promote adoption of emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency.
Business Analysis & Decision Support
- Build business cases, feasibility studies, and project proposals.
- Conduct data analysis and prepare insights for strategic decision-making.
- Develop performance metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to monitor organizational performance.
- Recommend process improvements and operational efficiencies based on analytical findings.
Stakeholder & Communication Management
- Act as the coordination point between the Chairman Office and internal/external stakeholders.
- Ensure effective communication across departments regarding project updates and priorities.
- Build strong working relationships with senior leadership, vendors, consultants, and partners.
- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive organizational information.
Documentation & Governance
- Maintain PMO documentation, project repositories, trackers, and governance records.
- Ensure compliance with project management methodologies and reporting standards.
- Support policy documentation and institutional governance initiatives.
Educational Qualification
- B.Tech / MBA / MCA / BCA or Postgraduate Degree in Management from a reputed institution.
- PMP, Prince2, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent Project Management certification will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 5 to 7 years of experience in Program Management, Project Management, PMO, Strategy, Consulting, or Business Transformation.
- Experience in higher education, healthcare, consulting, technology, or large corporate organizations is preferred.
- Experience working with senior leadership or CXO offices will be an advantage.
