Role Description The HR Manager (Chemicals Manufacturing) will oversee end-to-end human resources functions for the manufacturing facility, ensuring alignment between people practices and business goals. This full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad includes managing recruitment and onboarding for plant and corporate roles, coordinating workforce planning, and supporting succession planning.
The HR Manager will handle performance management processes, employee engagement initiatives, and learning and development programs tailored to a chemicals manufacturing environment. Daily responsibilities include managing HR policies, handling employee relations and grievance resolution, overseeing compliance with labor laws and safety regulations, and maintaining accurate HR documentation and MIS reports.
The role also involves collaborating with senior management to drive culture-building initiatives, support change management, and ensure consistent application of HR best practices across the organization.

- Candidates should possess strong experience in core HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and HR policy implementation.
- Candidates should possess skills in employee relations, conflict resolution, and engagement to support a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of labor laws, statutory compliance, and HR documentation practices relevant to manufacturing and industrial settings.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with training and development, talent management, and succession planning to support workforce capability building.
- Candidates should possess strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with plant teams and leadership.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in HRIS tools, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and data-driven HR reporting for decision-making.
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field is required; a relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred.
- Prior HR experience in chemicals, dyes, or broader manufacturing industries will be highly beneficial, along with understanding of EHS and safety culture
