Role Description The Hospital Administrator (Mental Health) is a full time, hybrid role based in Gurugram, with flexibility for some work-from-home tasks. The role involves overseeing day-to-day hospital operations, including admissions, discharge processes, bed management, and coordination among clinical and non-clinical departments.

The administrator will ensure adherence to regulatory standards, quality and safety protocols, and documentation requirements specific to mental health and rehabilitation services.

Responsibilities include supervising frontline staff,



managing patient and family queries, maintaining service excellence, and supporting incident reporting and resolution. The role also includes collaborating with clinical leadership on service planning, supporting interdisciplinary case coordination, monitoring key performance indicators, and contributing to process improvements and resource optimisation.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong expertise in Hospital Operations and Hospital Management, including workflow coordination, resource planning, and compliance with healthcare standards.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service and Communication skills to handle patient and family interactions, build trust, and support a therapeutic environment.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Medicine and mental health concepts to work effectively with clinical teams and understand psychiatric and rehabilitation services.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Public Health, or a related field are preferred.
- Prior experience in mental health, rehabilitation, or multi-speciality hospital settings, along with familiarity with healthcare accreditation and quality improvement, will be beneficial.
- Strong organisational skills, ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, proficiency with hospital information systems, and a commitment to ethical, non-discriminatory care are highly valued.
