Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer / Assistant HOD to lead mechanical maintenance activities in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in coke oven operations and robust expertise in machine and conveyor maintenance, ensuring maximum equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems, rotating equipment, and production machinery.
- Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of coke oven-related equipment.




- Plan maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and improve plant efficiency.
- Lead and guide the maintenance team while ensuring safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate with production and other departments for effective maintenance planning.

Requirements Requirements

- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 9 years of experience in mechanical maintenance.
- Hands-on experience in coke oven plants is mandatory.
- Strong expertise in machine maintenance and conveyor maintenance .
- Good troubleshooting, leadership, and team management skills.
- Willing to work in Kharagpur .
