Poet's Choice Publishing is an international book publisher looking for a detail-oriented executive to manage book metadata, online listings, and publishing data across multiple publishing and retailer platforms.
This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy structured work, have excellent attention to detail, and are interested in the publishing industry.
Role & responsibilities
- Create and update book metadata records.
- Enter and maintain accurate bibliographic information.
- Upload books to publishing and retailer platforms.
- Assign BISAC subject categories (training provided if required).
- Prepare book descriptions, keywords, and author information.
- Update ISBN records and publication details.
- Maintain Excel spreadsheets and internal databases.
- Verify metadata accuracy across multiple websites.
- Perform quality checks before and after publication.
- Optimization of already listed titles.
Preferred candidate profile
Candidate who have worked for a reputed publishing house or a distributor where they did metadata listing will be preferred.
Candidates who are skilled with Excel and Data Listing in the book industry are preferred.
