Role Description The Health Counselor will provide patient-centered counseling and guidance on Ayurvedic and general wellness practices, supporting individuals through their treatment plans and lifestyle changes. This full-time, on-site role in Model Town involves conducting patient interviews, understanding medical histories, explaining treatment procedures, and offering empathetic support throughout the care journey.

The Health

Counselor will collaborate closely with Ayurvedic doctors and clinical staff to ensure clear communication of diagnoses, remedies, and follow-up requirements. Daily responsibilities include educating patients and families on preventive health, diet, and lifestyle recommendations, maintaining accurate records,



and ensuring timely coordination of appointments and referrals. The role also involves contributing to patient engagement programs, participating in awareness sessions, and upholding high standards of confidentiality, ethics, and cultural sensitivity.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong patient counseling and communication skills, including active listening, empathy, and the ability to explain medical information in simple language.

Candidates should possess knowledge of Ayurveda, wellness, and lifestyle management, with the ability to guide patients on diet, routine, and preventive health practices.

Candidates should possess organizational and documentation skills, including maintaining accurate patient records, tracking follow-ups, and coordinating appointments efficiently.

Candidates should possess collaboration and teamwork abilities to work effectively with doctors, nurses, and administrative staff in a clinical environment.

Candidates should possess basic computer literacy for managing electronic records and communicating through digital platforms.

Relevant academic background such as a degree or diploma in Ayurveda, Psychology, Health Counseling, Social Work, or related health sciences is preferred.

Prior experience in hospital, clinic, or wellness center settings, especially in counseling or patient support roles, will be an advantage.
