Position Overview

If you're a medical qualified who thrives on details, processes, and impact, this role is your calling. As a Claims Associate – Audit, you will be at the forefront of ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continual improvement within the health claims journey. Your expertise will directly contribute to optimized operations and safeguarded claim practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Health Claims Auditing: Conduct end-to-end audits of open and closed claims, ensuring each file complies with internal and external audit standards. Spot patterns, gaps, and inconsistencies that require deeper scrutiny.

- Process Improvement & Documentation: Create detailed audit documentation to support ongoing learning, drive SOP improvements, and minimize recurring errors.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Medical, Underwriting, and Product teams to share feedback on claim trends, underwriting observations, and opportunities for better product understanding.

- Outcome Reporting & Feedback: Present comprehensive audit results along with actionable insights. Collaborate with systems and investigation teams to close feedback loops and reduce future leakage. Ensure ownership of audit feedback and apply appropriate rectifications wherever applicable.





Requirements

Experience

- Minimum 3 years of experience in health claims audit

- Prior work in claims processing, auditing, or medical assessments in insurance is essential

Education:
- Graduation in Medicine (BAMS / BHMS / MBBS)

- No specific certification is mandatory

Technology Tools:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
