Role & responsibilities

- Drive the timely completion of Statements of Requirements and engineering drawings by collaborating with the Engineering Head , ensuring supplier capability and cost viability are considered.
- Coordinate material cost evaluations through the Strategic Business Costing process and obtain prompt supplier inputs.
- Support achievement of project cost objectives for component development through effective cost planning.
- Ensure Strategic Business Costing aligns with the approved business case and project assumptions.
- Work closely with the Strategic Sourcing Unit (SSU) and Product Sourcing Lead (PSL) to finalize the supplier panel within project timelines.
- Manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) for assigned components while monitoring tooling and capital expenditure.




- Deliver purchased components within approved cost, investment, and quality targets.

Experience :

- 15-22 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier development, product costing, and commercial negotiations across multiple automotive commodity groups.

Preferred Industry :

- Automotive / Auto Components / Electric Vehicle Manufacturing.

Education :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree (B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
