We are partnering with one of India's most respected and innovation-led automotive manufacturing organizations to identify a senior procurement leader who will play a pivotal role in shaping sourcing strategies for future vehicle programs and business transformation initiatives.

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for professionals who have successfully driven strategic procurement, supplier partnerships, localization, cost optimization, and new product development within large automotive OEMs.

Role & responsibilities:

- Develop and execute long-term procurement and sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Lead procurement for future vehicle platforms and strategic programs.
- Drive supplier relationship management, localization, and value engineering initiatives.
- Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, and Program Management teams during product development.
- Lead negotiations for high-value sourcing contracts and commercial agreements.
- Build resilient supply chains while ensuring quality, cost, and delivery excellence.
- Drive cost optimization, productivity improvements,



and supplier innovation.
- Mentor and lead high-performing procurement teams.

Preferred candidate profile:

- 20 to 28 years of progressive procurement experience within the automotive industry.
- Proven experience leading large procurement portfolios and cross-functional teams.
- Exposure to passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, EV programs, or advanced manufacturing.
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Engineering degree from a reputed institution; MBA from a premier institute will be an advantage.
