Role Description The Head SCM and Warehouse is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. This role oversees end-to-end supply chain management, including demand planning, material planning, procurement coordination, and inventory optimization for manufacturing operations. Daily responsibilities include managing warehouse operations, ensuring accurate stock levels, monitoring inbound and outbound logistics, and maintaining timely and efficient distribution to internal and external customers.

The role also involves implementing and improving SCM processes, optimizing costs, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and leading a cross-functional team of supply chain and warehouse professionals.



The Head SCM and Warehouse collaborates closely with production, finance, sales, and vendor partners to support business goals and continuous operational improvement.

Qualifications

Strong experience in supply chain management, including demand planning, material planning, and inventory control in a manufacturing setting.

Proven capability in warehouse operations management, covering storage, dispatch, stock accuracy, safety, and housekeeping standards.

Exposure to logistics and distribution management, including coordination with transporters, optimization of freight, and on-time delivery performance.

Hands-on experience with ERP systems and SCM-related software tools for planning, tracking, and reporting.

Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience in team management, stakeholder coordination, and cross-functional collaboration.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with focus on process improvement, cost optimization, and data-driven decision-making.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills for vendor management, internal alignment, and senior management reporting.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification (MBA/PGDM in Operations or Supply Chain) is an advantage.

Relevant experience in textile, chemical, or similar process manufacturing industries is preferred.
