Role Description The Head of Human Resources at Arni University will lead the HR function, overseeing all people-related strategies, policies, and processes. This full time, on-site role in Junga involves managing recruitment and onboarding, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee engagement initiatives.

The role includes ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws and regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate HR records, and implementing fair and transparent HR practices. The Head of HR will partner with university leadership to develop workforce planning, talent development, and succession strategies, and will act as a trusted advisor on organizational culture and change management.



Daily responsibilities also include handling employee relations, resolving workplace issues, and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion across the university community.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong experience in core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Candidates should possess skills in HR policy development, compensation and benefits administration, and compliance with labor and education sector regulations.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in organizational development, change management, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to build trust across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Candidates should possess strategic thinking and leadership skills, including the ability to lead HR teams and collaborate effectively with senior management.
- Relevant qualifications such as a master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, along with significant HR leadership experience, are highly beneficial.
- Experience in the education or university sector, and familiarity with academic HR practices and faculty affairs, will be considered an advantage.
