Role Description The Head of Collections is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in the Greater Hyderabad Area. This position oversees end-to-end collections operations, including strategy development, portfolio performance management, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Day-to-day responsibilities include setting collection targets, analyzing performance data, optimizing workflows, and implementing process improvements to maximize recoveries while maintaining ethical and customer-centric practices. The role involves leading and coaching collections teams,



coordinating training programs, and ensuring consistent adherence to client expectations and company standards. The Head of Collections will collaborate with finance, operations, and client relationship teams to align collection strategies with business objectives and support sustainable growth.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid expertise in Debt Collection and Collections Management, including pre- and post-charge-off processes.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret collection data, portfolio trends, and performance metrics.
- Candidates should possess proven Team Management capabilities, including leading, mentoring, and developing large, target-driven teams.
- Candidates should possess a good understanding of Finance, credit risk, and revenue recovery principles.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of relevant regulations, compliance standards, and ethical collection practices.
- Experience in the collections or financial services industry at a senior or managerial level is highly beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
