Key Responsibilities

- Lead the complete HR function for a large power plant/site.

- Drive Industrial Relations (IR) initiatives and maintain a positive union-management relationship.

- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, settlements, negotiations, and conflict resolution.

- Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws, statutory regulations, and company policies.

- Oversee HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, learning & development, and succession planning.

- Partner with plant leadership to drive organizational effectiveness and workforce productivity.

- Manage manpower planning and talent management for plant operations.

- Ensure smooth execution of audits, inspections, and statutory documentation.

- Build a solid culture of safety, compliance, and employee well-being across the plant.





Candidate Profile

- 15+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in the Power, Energy, Steel, Cement, Mining, Heavy Engineering, or Manufacturing sector.

- Strong hands-on experience in Industrial Relations (IR) and Labour Law Compliances.

- Experience handling HR for large industrial assets or power plants is mandatory.

- Proven expertise in managing employee relations, union interactions, and statutory compliance.

- Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work closely with plant leadership and business heads.

- Fluency in Odia (Oriya) is mandatory.
