Key Responsibilities
Financial Management &
- Reporting
- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, and month-end/year-end closures.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual) in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Present financial results, MIS reports, and variance analysis to senior management.
Budgeting, Forecasting &
- Planning
- Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
- Monitor budget vs actuals and provide actionable insights for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
- Support leadership with financial modeling, scenario analysis, and strategic decision-making.
Statutory Compliance &
- Taxation
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements including Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other applicable laws.
- Manage direct and indirect tax filings, assessments, notices, and litigation support.
- Coordinate with tax consultants and advisors for effective tax planning.
Audit &
- Controls
- Lead internal and statutory audits; ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Strengthen internal controls, SOPs, and risk management frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and governance standards.
Cash Flow &
- Treasury Management
- Manage cash flows, working capital, and fund utilization.
- Oversee banking relationships, credit facilities, and treasury operations.
- Ensure liquidity planning and optimal use of financial resources.
Team Leadership &
- Stakeholder Management
- Build, lead, and mentor the accounts and finance team.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (HR, Operations, Business Heads) and external stakeholders (auditors, banks, consultants, regulators).
- Drive process improvements and system automation initiatives.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and MIS reporting.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into business insights.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Requirements
Qualifications &
- Experience
- Preferred Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) with Company Secretary (CS).
- Other acceptable qualifications: CA / CS / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
- 7-9+ years of progressive experience in Accounts &
- Finance roles.
- Experience in Banking / Finance will be preferred.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Tally / other finance systems).
