Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Snowflake Developer to design, develop, optimize, and maintain scalable data solutions on the Snowflake Cloud Data Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data warehousing, ETL/ELT development, cloud platforms, performance tuning, and data integration. The individual will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and analytics teams to deliver robust data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement scalable data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
- Build and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines using Snowflake, SQL, and orchestration tools.
- Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and database objects.
- Implement Snowflake features such as:
- Virtual Warehouses
- Snowpipe
- Streams & Tasks
- Time Travel
- Zero-Copy Cloning
- Data Sharing
- Materialized Views

- Perform query optimization, performance tuning, and cost optimization.




- Integrate Snowflake with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Develop data ingestion frameworks from diverse source systems.
- Implement data security, governance, and role-based access controls.
- Collaborate with BI, Analytics, and Data Science teams to support reporting and analytics requirements.
- Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot production issues.
- Ensure adherence to data quality, compliance, and best practices.

Required Skills

Snowflake

- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- Experience in Snowflake architecture and administration concepts.
- Expertise in SnowSQL, Stored Procedures, UDFs, Streams, Tasks, and Snowpipe.
- Experience in data migration from traditional databases to Snowflake.

SQL & Data Warehousing

- Advanced SQL programming skills.
- Solid understanding of Data Warehouse concepts.
- Experience with Star Schema and Snowflake Schema design.
- Knowledge of dimensional modeling and data marts.
