We are looking for an experienced Automotive Design Engineer with expertise in Closure Systems and Exterior Components for passenger vehicle development.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in product design, packaging, feasibility studies, CAD development, and engineering release of automotive components.
Responsibilities
- Design and development of automotive Closure and Exterior components.
- Perform concept development and feasibility studies.
- Develop 3D CAD models and engineering drawings.
- Work on packaging, master sections, and interface management.
- Perform DFM/DFA reviews and manufacturing feasibility.
- Conduct GD&T; and tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Coordinate with Styling, CAE, Manufacturing, Tooling, and Suppliers.
- Support engineering changes and product releases.
- Ensure compliance with OEM standards and quality requirements.
