- MD/DNB in Internal Medicine, Anesthesia, Pulmonary Medicine, or Critical Care Medicine Preferred for senior ICU roles.
- Diploma in Critical Care Medicine (IDCCM) or Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine (IFCCM) Additional specialization for ICU-focused doctors.
- DM/DNB in Critical Care Medicine – Super-specialization for higher expertise.

2. Key Skills & Competencies:

- Expertise in managing ventilators, life support systems, and critical care monitoring.
- Proficiency in emergency procedures like intubation, central line insertion, and arterial line placement.
- Robust knowledge of infection control, sepsis management, and hemodynamic monitoring.
- Ability to handle multi-organ failure, trauma, and post-operative care.
- Decision-making under pressure and excellent team coordination with nurses and specialists.

3. Work Experience:

- Fresh MBBS graduates can work in ICUs under supervision.
- MD/DNB holders with 2+ years of ICU experience preferred for senior roles.
