We are looking for a newly qualified Chartered Accountant to join our Finance & Accounts team. This is a growth-oriented role you'll begin with hands-on statutory and internal audit work to build a strong foundation of the business, and progressively take on broader responsibilities across accounting, compliance, MIS, and financial operations. This is an ideal chance for someone who wants exposure across multiple areas of finance early in their career rather than being confined to one function

.Key ResponsibilitiesPhase 1 (Initial 36 months): Audit & Compliance

- Assist in statutory and internal audits, including vouching, verification, and reconciliation of accounts
- Prepare and review audit working papers, schedules, and documentation
- Support in finalization of financial statements as per applicable accounting standards
- Identify discrepancies, control gaps, and process improvement areas during audits
- Coordinate with auditors (statutory/internal) and ensure timely closure of audit queries
- Ensure compliance with tax laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax) and other regulatory requirements

Phase 2 (Ongoing):



Core Finance & Accounts

- Handle day-to-day accounting operations bookkeeping, ledger scrutiny, and reconciliations
- Assist in month-end/year-end closing and preparation of MIS reports
- Support in budgeting, variance analysis, and financial planning
- Manage statutory filings, tax returns, and compliance deadlines
- Assist in cash flow management and vendor/customer reconciliations
- Work closely with senior finance team members on process automation and reporting improvements
- Take ownership of specific accounts/functions as experience grows

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Qualification: CA (Fresher / Newly Qualified) completed articleship, cleared final exams
- Strong understanding of accounting standards (Ind AS/AS), tax laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax), and audit procedures
- Proficiency in MS Excel; working knowledge of accounting software (Tally/SAP/Oracle/Zoho Books, etc. update as applicable)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Eagerness to learn and take on cross-functional responsibilities
