Hands-on Specialist (Amazon-focused) Reports to: Performance Marketing Manager
Location: India · Maxima India office
Working Hours: US-aligned night shift · approx. 6:30pm – 3:30am IST
Type: Full-time Role Overview
Maxima — parent company of Pro Standard — is hiring a hands-on Amazon Specialist to be the daily build and maintenance layer for our Amazon Ads program. You'll spend most of your day inside the Amazon Ads console — building Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display campaigns, mining search terms for negatives, managing bids and placements, and checking that the ASINs you're advertising are actually available to buy. Your Manager directs the work; you execute it with rigor.
Working Hours
Detail
This role works a US-aligned night shift — approximately 6:30pm to 3:30am IST — so you are online through the US Eastern business day.
The overlap is the point of the role: the Amazon account, the US team, and our external agency all operate on US hours, and decisions on bids, budgets, and listing issues need someone live in the console while the US day is running. You report to your Manager in India and work directly with the US team during your shift. What You'll Own
Daily campaign builds across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display.
Search term mining — daily review of search term reports to add negative keywords and negative ASINs, and surface recent targeting opportunities.
Bid and placement management — top-of-search share on priority ASINs, and knowing whether under-delivery is a bid, budget, or eligibility problem.
Campaign structure upkeep — consolidating fragmented low-budget campaigns, enforcing naming conventions, retiring campaigns pointed at dead ASINs.
Listing eligibility checks — daily review of out-of-stock, unconfirmed, and search-suppressed ASINs so spend never runs behind something a customer can't buy.
Bulk operations — bulksheet builds and edits when the work is too big for the console.
Daily QA on your own builds before Manager review.
Reporting on what shipped, what's queued, and what needs attention.
Mindset for the Role
Amazon rewards rigor more than creativity, and we're looking for someone who:
Treats search term mining as a daily discipline, not a weekly chore.
Checks inventory and listing health before touching bids — ad spend behind an unavailable ASIN is pure waste.
Reads bid and placement data carefully and adjusts based on signal, not guess.
Understands that small structural cleanups compound, and that a tidy account is a cheaper account.
Stays current on Amazon Ads platform updates and has a point of view on what's worth adopting and what's not.
Working With AI
Maxima uses AI tools that suggest keywords, generate ad copy variants, and structure campaigns.
Your role is to validate those outputs in the platform and apply the human judgment on what's worth running. We're looking for someone who treats AI as a teammate that produces options, and who applies their own taste on what actually ships.
Required
Experience
2-4 years in paid media with Amazon Ads specialization.
Hands-on with Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display daily.
Vendor Central (1P) experience, not Seller Central only.
Strong written English.
Detail-oriented with rigor on negative keyword maintenance and listing health.
Nice to Have
Apparel, sports, DTC, or licensed-goods category exposure.
Large-catalog experience — thousands of ASINs with seasonal demand.
Amazon DSP, Amazon Marketing Cloud, or Amazon Attribution exposure.
Brand Store and A+ Content coordination.
Why This Role Matters
Amazon underperforms when search term mining and listing health get neglected. With dedicated hands focused on Amazon, the program improves week over week. Without them, performance drifts and waste accumulates quietly.
