Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Integration Lead Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of integrations across the Guidewire InsuranceSuite platform. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter integrations, Guidewire Integration Framework, web services, messaging, and cloud-based integration technologies. The candidate will lead a team of developers, collaborate with business stakeholders, and ensure high-quality integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities Lead the design and development of Guidewire integrations for PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter. Develop REST and SOAP web services using the Guidewire Integration Framework. Design and implement integrations with third-party systems such as:

Payment gateways

Document management systems

CRM applications

Data warehouses

Rating engines

External policy administration systems

Configure and manage messaging, batch processes, plugins, and event-driven integrations. Build reusable APIs and integration components. Troubleshoot complex integration issues and provide production support.

Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to Guidewire development best practices. Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership. Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, QA teams, and client stakeholders.

Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimations, retrospectives, and demos. Ensure integration solutions meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.

Guidewire Cloud Platform Required Experience 8-12+ years of software development experience. 5+ years of Guidewire Integration development.

Experience implementing integrations for at least one full Guidewire implementation project.

Experience working with Guidewire Cloud is preferred. Solid understanding of InsuranceSuite architecture.

Experience integrating Guidewire with external enterprise applications.

Experience in Commercial or Personal Lines Insurance. Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.

Leadership Responsibilities

Lead a team of Guidewire Integration Developers. Perform technical design reviews. Drive development standards and coding best practices. Estimate project efforts and provide technical guidance. Coordinate with Solution Architects and Project Managers. Support production releases and critical issue resolution.

Preferred Qualifications Guidewire Certified Integration Specialist or Developer.

Experience with Guidewire Cloud API.

Experience with Event-Driven Architecture. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines. Exposure to microservices architecture.

Experience with API Management platforms such as Apigee or MuleSoft.

Soft Skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to lead distributed teams. Client-facing consulting experience. Strong documentation and presentation skills.
