Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and student-focused Career Counsellor with expertise in overseas education counselling. The ideal candidate will guide students through the complete study abroad journey—from career planning and country selection to university admissions, visa guidance, and pre-departure support. The role requires strong counselling, communication, and relationship-building skills to convert enquiries into successful admissions.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and parents on study abroad opportunities based on academic background, career goals, and budget.
- Guide students in selecting suitable countries, universities, courses, and intake sessions.
- Assist with university applications, SOPs, LORs, resumes, and documentation.
- Provide accurate information on admission requirements, scholarships, tuition fees, and living expenses.
- Support students through the visa application process and pre-departure orientation.




- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective students and convert leads into enrolments.
- Build and maintain relationships with university representatives and recruitment partners.
- Organize seminars, webinars, education fairs, and career guidance sessions.
- Maintain student records and update CRM systems with counselling notes and application status.
- Stay updated on international education trends, visa regulations, and university admission policies.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's degree preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience in study abroad counselling or overseas education consultancy.
- Solid knowledge of admissions and visa processes for countries such as the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, and Europe.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi (Bengali is an added advantage).
- Strong counselling, interpersonal, presentation, and sales skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
