Role Description The Graduate Student Research Assistant is a full-time, hybrid role based in Patna, with the flexibility to perform some tasks from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and conducting research related to digital education and training programs, collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, and supporting the preparation of research reports, presentations, and publications. The role involves collaborating with educators and internal teams to gather insights, organizing and maintaining research documentation, and assisting in the evaluation of program effectiveness.

The Research





Assistant may also contribute to the development of training materials, literature reviews, and proposals that inform Scrollwell’s educational initiatives.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess solid Research and Analytical Skills to design studies, interpret findings, and support evidence-based decision-making.

Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to present research outcomes clearly and collaborate with educators and team members.

Candidates should possess Data Analysis skills to work with datasets, apply basic statistical methods, and generate actionable insights.

Candidates should possess relevant Laboratory Skills or equivalent practical research skills where applicable to educational or social science research.

Enrollment in or completion of a graduate program (e.g., Education, Social Sciences, Data Science, Psychology, or related field) is preferred.

Proficiency with common research tools and software (e.g., spreadsheets, statistical packages, survey platforms) is beneficial.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a hybrid work environment.

Interest in digital education, educator development, or edtech initiatives will be an advantage.
