About Us At CosmoChute, we are building modular, reusable lunar robotics infrastructure for long-duration planetary operations. Our systems combine mobility, modular payload deployment, survivability through lunar nights, and repair ability to make sustained presence on the Moon economically viable. We’re a deeply technical, fast-moving team that believes in real ownership, real trust and in creating an environment where your best work matters.
If you want to work on hardware that will one day operate on the moon, this is the role. Your Role
We're looking for an Avionics Engineer to join our core engineering team. This is an early-career role for someone who is comfortable thinking about circuits, someone who has built things, broken things, and learned from both. You'll work directly alongside experienced engineers on real flight hardware, and you'll be expected to engage fully, ask questions, and take ownership of your work from day one.
You’ll be working alongside the senior engineers on the mission-critical hardware that keeps the assets on the moon running smoothly. Your Responsibilities
Support the design and development of avionics hardware for lunar robotic systems (focusing on PCB design, power electronics)
Assist with embedded firmware development for sensor integration, motor control, and onboard data handling
Support hardware bring-up, debugging, and integration activities
Develop and maintain device drivers and communication interfaces under the guidance of senior engineers
Contribute to avionics verification and test activities, including writing test procedures and documenting results
Work closely with mechanical, software, and systems engineers and learn how a space system integrates end-to-end Requirements
Must have Strong fundamentals in electronics (circuit theory, digital systems, and signal integrity)
Hands-on experience with micro-controllers, development boards, or embedded platforms (STM32, Raspberry Pi, or equivalent)
