Torchit is expanding its government business and is looking for an experienced skilled to manage government tenders and the Government e-Marketplace (GeM). The ideal candidate will identify opportunities, manage tender submissions, and coordinate with internal teams to maximize government business.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor GeM, CPP Portal, and other government procurement platforms daily.
- Identify relevant tenders and procurement opportunities.
- Prepare and submit technical and financial bids.
- Ensure all tender documentation is accurate and submitted before deadlines.
- Coordinate with finance, legal, and operations teams for bid preparation.
- Manage vendor registrations, certifications, and compliance documents.
- Track tender status and maintain a tender pipeline.
- Build relationships with government departments and procurement agencies.
- Analyze competitors and government procurement trends.
- Maintain complete documentation for audits and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in Government Tender Management or GeM.
- Strong understanding of GeM Portal and e-procurement systems.
- Experience preparing government bids.
- Excellent documentation and coordination skills.
