Role Description The Government Incentives Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurgaon. The specialist will identify, analyze, and manage central and state government incentive schemes, subsidies, and tax benefits applicable to clients, especially in finance and business operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching relevant policies, interpreting regulations, preparing documentation and applications, coordinating with government departments, and tracking incentive approvals and disbursements.
The role involves supporting advisory projects, preparing reports and presentations for clients,
and collaborating with internal finance, tax, and compliance teams to ensure timely and accurate utilization of incentives. The specialist will also monitor policy changes, update internal knowledge repositories, and assist in client training or workshops as needed.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess solid research and analytical skills to interpret government policies, schemes, and regulatory frameworks.
Candidates should possess expertise in finance, taxation, and accounting concepts relevant to incentives, subsidies, and compliance.
Candidates should possess skills in documentation, report drafting, and professional communication with government authorities and clients.
Candidates should possess abilities in stakeholder management, client service, and collaboration with cross-functional internal teams.
Relevant academic background such as a degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Law, or related field; professional qualifications (CA, CS, CMA, LLB, MBA Finance) are an advantage.
Prior experience in government incentives, indirect tax, corporate finance, or regulatory advisory is highly beneficial.
Strong proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort working with databases and online government portals.
Attention to detail, high ethical standards, and the ability to handle multiple assignments within timelines.
