Desired Candidate Profile
- CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred.
- 1015 years of experience in construction, EPC, infrastructure, engineering services or project-based industries.
- Strong expertise in project finance, cash flow management and working capital.
- Excellent analytical, MIS and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP systems such as Tally, SAP, Oracle or equivalent.
- Solid leadership, commercial acumen and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Ability to support management with data-driven financial decisions in a fast-paced project environment.
Key Responsibilities 1. Cash Flow Management
- Prepare and maintain rolling 812 week cash flow forecasts.
- Recommend daily and weekly fund allocations.
- Monitor bank balances and working capital.
- Prioritize vendor payments based on project requirements.
- Coordinate with commercial teams to improve collections.
- Identify potential cash shortages well in advance.
2. Project Financial Control
- Review financial performance of every project.
- Monitor Budget vs Actual costs.
- Analyse Revenue vs Cost.
- Track Cash Inflow vs Cash Outflow.
- Monitor Labour, Material and Equipment Costs.
- Highlight projects requiring management intervention.
3. Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Prepare annual budgets.
- Update quarterly forecasts.
- Develop monthly financial projections.
- Forecast profitability and working capital requirements.
- Plan debt servicing and funding requirements.
4. Validation of Project Data Review and validate information received from project sites, including:
- Labour deployment and wage costs.
- Purchase requests and purchase orders.
- Vendor invoices.
- Material consumption.
- Equipment utilisation.
- Billing and certification status.
- Project progress reports.
Identify inconsistencies before they impact financial reporting. 5. MIS & Management Reporting
Develop and maintain dashboards covering:
- Cash Position.
- Receivables.
- Payables.
- Site-wise Profitability.
- Cost Overruns.
- Labour Productivity.
- Purchase Analysis.
- Budget vs Actual.
- Cash Burn.
- Cost-to-Complete.
- Working Capital.
- Key Financial Ratios.
6. Financial Controls Develop and implement systems for:
- Cost control.
- Purchase approvals.
- Budget approvals.
- Vendor payment controls.
- Cash utilisation monitoring.
- Expense authorisation.
- Financial SOPs and internal controls.
7. Accounts & Finance Leadership Lead the Finance & Accounts team responsible for:
- Accounts Payable.

- Payroll coordination.
- GST and TDS compliance.
- Statutory compliance.

- Monthly financial closing.
8. Business Decision Support Provide financial analysis and recommendations for:
