The company has setup fully Automated Manufacturing Plant which produces 7000 litres of fruit drinks or Carbonated Soft Drinks per hour. The Company has launched three different brands each producing and processing different types beverages. Gemsip is an Indian fruit drink brand with various different fruit drinks. Gemberg is an Indian Carbonated Soft Drinks Brand with a various different flavours. Gemneer is an Indian Packaged Drinking Water brand.

Position Title: Principal Scientist – Beverage Technology

Department: Product Development

Reports To: Unit Director

Location: Harihara, Davangere

Role Overview We are hiring a senior Product Quality Developer / Enhancer / Optimiser from the

Beverages Industry to drive product quality improvement, taste enhancement, flavour innovation, and shelf-life extension.



The role focuses on extending PET bottled beverage shelf life from 3 months to 12 months for export markets, ensuring compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, ISO, FDA, and international food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities Lead beverage product development, Advancement, and quality assurance.

Enhance taste, consistency, and sensory appeal of beverages.

Develop new flavours aligned with consumer and export market trends.

Implement shelf-life extension technologies for PET bottled beverages.

Ensure regulatory compliance with domestic and global food safety norms.

Conduct stability studies, sensory evaluation, and process streamlining.

Collaborate with R&D;, QA, and Production teams to deliver export-ready products.

Qualifications & Skills M.Sc. in Food Technology / Biotechnology (mandatory).

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Beverages Industry (non-negotiable).

Proven expertise in flavour creation, shelf-life extension, beverage formulation, and export quality standards.

Solid command of food safety, microbiology, packaging innovation, and preservation techniques.
