Role & responsibilities

Warehouse Operations Management

- Oversee daily warehouse operations including inbound freight, receiving, sorting, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of goods movement to meet customer and business requirements.
- Monitor warehouse productivity, turnaround times, and service level adherence.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and operational workflows to improve efficiency.
- Coordinate with logistics, supply chain, and transportation teams to ensure smooth material flow.

2. Team Leadership & Workforce Management

- Lead and supervise warehouse associates, operators, and supervisors.
- Allocate daily tasks and monitor execution against operational plans.
- Manage shift schedules, manpower deployment, attendance, and productivity.
- Conduct training and onboarding for current team members.
- Drive performance management, capability building, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

3. Inventory Management & Control

- Ensure accurate inventory records and stock visibility through Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Monitor real-time inventory movements and stock reconciliation.
- Conduct cycle counts, stock audits,



and periodic inventory verification activities.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, damages, and stock variances.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize losses and improve accuracy.

4. Safety, Compliance & Quality

- Ensure strict adherence to warehouse safety standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment.

5. Process Improvement & Reporting

- Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and cost reduction.
- Monitor and report key warehouse performance metrics including inventory accuracy, productivity, dispatch adherence, and safety compliance

Preferred candidate profile

Education

- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

- 7-12 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Experience in FMCG, Ecommerce, Retail, Beauty, Personal Care, or Consumer Goods industries preferred.
- Exposure to Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and inventory control
