The Agentic Loop
India
Company Description The Agentic Loop is an AI publication and learning space focused on the emerging world of agentic AI, serving curious learners, builders, and leaders. The organization covers the agents in production today, the models behind them, the people building them, and what this technology shift means for everyone else. It turns fast-moving, hype-filled AI discourse into transparent, practical language through a weekly newsletter, daily posts, and hands-on programs like the Production GenAI Engineering Program.
The Agentic
Loop offers real-world frameworks, tools, and honest takes on what works and what does not, along with conversations with leading practitioners. It is designed for individuals who want to actively participate in the agent age, not just observe it.
Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Generative AI Engineer at The Agentic Loop. In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize generative AI systems and agentic workflows, including prompt pipelines, tool integrations, and evaluation frameworks. You will collaborate with editorial, product, and program teams to translate frontier AI developments into practical demos, prototypes, and teaching materials.
Typical responsibilities include building and maintaining production-ready ML and LLM applications, experimenting with new models and architectures, improving reliability and safety of agentic systems, and documenting your work in clear technical and non-technical language.
You will also contribute to internal engineering standards, support live learning programs, and help shape best practices for building production-grade generative AI. Qualifications
Strong software engineering skills in languages commonly used for AI (e.g., Python, TypeScript/JavaScript) and experience with APIs, microservices, and cloud-based development.
Hands-on experience with modern generative AI and LLM ecosystems (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source models, vector databases, orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or similar).
Ability to design, test, and deploy agentic workflows, including prompt engineering, tool calling, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and evaluation/monitoring of system performance.
Practical knowledge of machine learning fundamentals, data processing, and model lifecycle concepts, even if specializing in applied LLM engineering rather than core research.
Clear technical communication skills, including writing documentation and translating complex AI concepts into language accessible to builders, leaders, and learners.
Comfort working independently in a remote environment, collaborating asynchronously, and iterating quickly on prototypes based on feedback.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience shipping AI or ML-powered products is highly beneficial.
Familiarity with AI safety, reliability, and ethical considerations, and
