Position: Head – Quality

Location: Kolkata

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic quality leader to drive end-to-end quality excellence across our manufacturing operations. The incumbent will be responsible for establishing robust quality systems, strengthening customer confidence, leading continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring every product consistently meets international quality standards.

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong operational expertise and a passion for building a culture of quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end quality across Incoming, In-line, End-line, and Final Inspection processes.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and international quality standards.




- Lead root cause analysis and implement effective CAPA for quality issues.
- Achieve delivery schedules optimizing manpower & resources.
- Collaborate with Production, Merchandising, Design, and Product Development teams.
- Ensure workplace safety & statutory compliance.
- Monitor customer complaints, audits, and quality KPIs to enhance overall performance.
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing quality team.

What We're Looking For

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Leather Technology, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline (not mandatory).
- Min 8 years of experience in Quality Control within the leather goods, handbags, accessories, footwear, or similar export manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience managing large teams in a high-volume international manufacturing environment.
- Solid understanding of luxury brand quality expectations and standards.
- Hands-on experience in Quality Systems, Root Cause Analysis, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
