Role Overview:
The Chief Manufacturing for International Operations will oversee the manufacturing process for the International Subsidiaries (Manufacturing facilities outside India - Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Thailand, Dubai, Kenya & Egypt) and the Domestic Subsidiaries (ICA, Nina Percept, Jowat, Besi, Litokol, Pidilite GrupoPuma & Tenax). The incumbent will be responsible for developing & implementing strategies to ensure optimal service, quality, cost control & process improvement across the units to aid the business performance. The incumbent will establish strategy & best practices for staff to ensure achievement of overall business objectives and work proactively with the product line management, engineering, service & other departments to incorporate best practices into the manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Site Delivery:
Achieve the output deliverables for the assigned International/Domestic SEZ units with respect to:
a) Operational Strategy Development & Implementation - Develop and implement operational strategies in line with company objectives b) Supply Chain Management & Optimization - Identify and mitigate bottlenecks across supply chain, planning, and manufacturing operations. Drive supplier and internal readiness to meet capacity expansion goals.
c) Technology Integration & Automation in Manufacturing Processes - Leads the implementation of Industry 4.0 solutions for process automation, real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, and manufacturing analytics.

Cost Control & Budget Management - Ensuring minimal manufacturing cost & maximum capacity utilization through optimal utilization of man, material & machine e) Quality Assurance & Products Standards Compliance - Ensure the practice of continuous improvement in all aspects, aiming at supplying quality products, parts and services and competitive costs.
f) Workforce Management & Employee Development g) Risk Management & Safety - Report program progress, risks, and mitigations through structured updates and leadership reviews.
2. Statutory Compliance:
Ensures adherence to statutory requirements, safety norms, and environmental standards, while proactively identifying and mitigating operational risks.
3. People Related:
Manage and guide Site & Departmental Heads to foster a high-performance culture.
Build a sustainable operations organization through capability development and address unit concerns and drive them to closure, ensure employee engagement initiatives are rolled out in all Units.
Professional Experience/Skills:
- Minimum of 20 years of relevant experience in manufacturing & senior operational roles managing multiple sites
- International manufacturing experience is preferred locations primarily Middle East and South East Asia
- Strong knowledge in manufacturing processes and quality assurance techniques
- Understanding of Batch manufacturing setting • Strong Project Management skills
- Supply Chain Automation
Qualification:
- Desired: B.E/ B.Tech (Chemical/Mechanical/Industrial/Production)
- Preferred: MBA/M.Tech/Master’s degree in relevant field
